Kadinsky Tree

We used the artist Kadinsky as inspiration for art this week. Kadinsky liked to paint with all the colours of the rainbow. He also painted while listening to music. We played music in the classroom and used oil pastels to draw circles on black card. We started with a small circle in the middle of our page, and then drew and coloured bigger circles around it using lots of different colours.

When everyone cut out their circle, they were put up on our tree. Everyone's Kadinsky circle is
different and unique, and now we have a beautiful new display in our classroom!
