Juniors: Addition
When learning to add, it is important that young children can practice with real materials to consolidate learning. Give your child pieces of pasta, lego blocks, pencils etc. to combine together to figure out the answer to sums if they need them.

Just like with addition, it is important that children can use counters to practice addition to help build number sense. Children need to hold maths before they can understand it.
