is really important, and could be done daily in the form of a diary (Juniors
can draw a picture and label it).
The children can do their own free
writing or use the template linked below.
Fairy tale: children write their own

They could also choose their favourite fairy tale and write it from the bad
guy’s perspective.

this is what we would have done in the classroom. For Day 3 and 4, you can use
rice/pasta/water, whatever you have at home really! Free exploration and
discovery are key here.

Capacity is pg129-132. I would allow some free exploration using
rice/pasta/water and a variety of different containers on Monday. Tues-Fri one
workbook page per day. 1st Class are introduced to the litre as a
form of measurement on pg132.
Notes:
- Include time for play every day! It is the most important part of a child’s learning!
- Send in pictures/videos of your work for our classroom blog on Friday.
