Today we saw how chemicals can react with each other!
We got a plate each and Bernie poured milk onto it. Then Ms. Keane (with Elizabeth's help) poured some drops of food colouring onto the plates. We had
red, blue, yellow, and green!
Then we got a cotton bud and dipped it into some fairy liquid. When we put this cotton bud onto the plate something cool happened...
The fats and protein in the milk reacted with the soap on the cotton bud.
That made the milk move all over the plate!
The colours swirled and mixed together. It looked really cool.
