The children in Juniors and Seniors worked in groups on Friday to design and set up restaurants in the classroom. A very special guest then came to try out each restaurant-a big thank you to Mr. Larke!!

The Solstice and STEAM Stations
Well done to the Junior and Seniors today! We went on a bus to The Solstice in Navan for a show and they were all so well behaved! The show was so funny and we had a great day.
We have been learning about food in the Junior Room. Have a look at our food-themed STEAM stations last week:

September
September was a busy month in our classroom! We spent a lot of time getting to know each other and getting used to the classroom. The children have been working on loads of important early skills (and revisiting them if they are in Seniors) to prepare them for the year of learning ahead! Most importantly, we have been having lots of fun and learning through play as much as possible 😊

First Week Fun!
Well done to the Juniors and Seniors on completing their first few days in school! They have all been amazing!
In the video below you will see some of the activities we have gotten up to. The main focus of the past three days has been having fun and getting used to the school. Because the children have been so brilliant, we managed to start STEAM Stations (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) this week, where we painted self-portraits, explored and created with some construction toys and went with Ms. Kilrane to take photos on the ipads of different parts of the school!

Castles
We have been learning all about castles in the Junior Room. Today we went to Trim Castle to see if we could spot some arrow slits, towers, gatehouses, a portcullis and other pasts of a castle. Danny very kindly let us into the castle grounds and answered all of our questions and showed up around the grounds!
