Adjectives

  We have made some adjective collages using lots of different types of materials. We used bubble wrap, cotton wool, pipe cleaners, pasta, felt, feathers, tin foil, cotton buds and plastic. After we made our pictures we had to think of adjectives to describe each material we used. Here are the finished products:

3D Shapes

Today we looked at cubes and cuboids. A cube's faces are all square, but a cuboid's faces can be squares and rectangles. We got the playdough out again and made some robots out of cubes and cuboids!

This week we are learning about 3D shapes. Today we looked at cylinders and spheres and tried to find some in the classroom. Then we made playdough people using just these shapes.
